September 2, 2010 Review: June 18, 2007 - The Call of the storm

In this interminable period of scarcity stormy, I turn to the heyday of years past, and I want to update refreshed versions of the animated sequences made during storms of yesteryear. We here
June 18, 2007. A beautiful cumulonimbus develops on the south of Lot-et-Garonne. Seen from the castle of Saint-Puy, it occupies the northern horizon. I have plenty of time to admire it, because its movement is slow and that the riser does not run dry as we approach the time when I can win the roads to get closer. Suspecting a
next breath of the beast, and conscious of the time I need to go beyond the Garonne, I post on the plateau between lomagnols Lectoure and Castera-Lectourois to draw a portrait of this king of clouds. Center and thirty-six views allowed me to achieve accelerated short sequence below. The second part this clip includes a close-up, the strong upward chimney. It sees literally rooted in the lower troposphere where its roots avid hot air, while the flows south-southwest aloft spreads rapidly anvil ice.
